Imagine a spiritual haven where every heart is welcomed, a place open to all people. In this space, all are safe to come together in the spirit of love and shared dignity to learn the spiritual principles and gain the tools that free us to take tangible steps toward a life of greater joy and higher good. Here, we learn that we are on an endless journey to connect with the Infinite Intelligence that creates and sustains all. This Higher Power is not only all around us but also within us. Indeed, It is the very stuff of the universe. This is a place of possibility for anyone at any stage on their journey to grow spiritually and enrich the experience of life.
The Center for Spiritual Living™ Tri-Cities is just such a place. We are a spiritual community honoring our fundamental Oneness. We teach and practice the New Thought spiritual philosophy of Dr. Ernest S. Holmes, the Science of Mind. We convey and celebrate the noblest qualities of humankind, appreciate the world around us, and cultivate a relationship with the Infinite Power Within. Our spirituality is applied and practical; it provides us with tangible ways to apply spiritual principles in everyday life. We seek inner peace, interpersonal harmony, and prosperity. We hone the spiritual tools to transform our lives and make the world around us a better place for all. And we are here to support one another in love and mutual respect as we grow.
The New Thought tradition dates to the 1880s and has its roots in the Transcendentalist Movement of the 1830s. New Thought has an enduring and respected legacy. Some of the better-known authors today whose writings represent contemporary interpretations of our teachings are Michael Bernard Beckwith, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, and countless others. Our teachings incorporate the ancient wisdom of all the spiritual traditions through the ages. People of all spiritual paths Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, New Age and others are welcome in our communities.
